'aylor at $100,000, less than half covred by insurance. Driving southward before a smart reeze, the flames at 1 o'clock were weeping both sides of the main street nd they were checked only by a suden shift of the wind, which came imultaneously with the arrival of a riotor fire engine company from CoLimbia, 12 miles away. Then minutes fterward it was apparent that the ire area had reached its extreme exent, though brisk work was still reuired to quench incipient blazes in earby structures.
