Mr Ward's farm is in the belt whose cropt suffered most severely from weather conditions this year. Yet one of his neighbors has just gathered two hundred and twenty-five bushels of corn from five acres, and he was not competing for a prize nor % anything of the sort. Why? i v News has just reached here that 1 Mr Robert T Huggins died this j (Tuesday) morning at Mr J J Ead- c dy's.near Prospect. It is also report- j ed that he died of heart failure and that the end came instantly. Mr Huggins was about sixty-six years of age and is survived by his wife and five or six children. He moved ? to this town about two years ago and has lived here since. Mr Hug- <; gins was a man of above average in- b telligence, a first-rate man and a ? good citizen. He has given to the b world some good ideas in the field J r.f invention, the most successful be- u ing the "Huggins plow." His father ? was the inventor of the "Huggins t cotton planter."
