They're attending courses at spe cial study centers established by the company in Chicago, New York and Winston-Salem, N. C. The girls have a rough schedule to follow. Beginning their day at 7 a.m., they are in class and work ing until 3:30 p.m. Mondays they have four hours of clinical experi ence and one hour of nutrition un der the supervision of Columbia Hospital, in addition to two hours of class. The students think that the new program which is to be installed next year will greatly expand nursing education offerings at the University. Under the new plan the girls will begin their clinical experience their sophomore year at Carolina and will live on campus. Uniforns Uniforms of the student nurses are yellow with the University seal on them. Their aprons and caps are white and their capes are blue. The students are residing at the Columbia Hospital on First Guerry Wing and Second West Wing.
