N. club. Quite a few members were present. We had two visitors: Mrs. Bertha Lewis and Mrs. Louise Hall ot Cleveland. Ohio. Reports were I made from the candy pulling given by Mis. C. Green and M. Rich unison and th<* party given by Mrs. C. Green. Mrs. E. M. Owens asked the .ladies to fancy themselves as child ren again and participate in play ing games. Stokes, Reporter The friends of Mr. James Hall were shocked last week to learn about his passing, at his home in Daytona Beach, Fla. Bishop A. M. McEachern died at the McLeod Infirmary on July 27, after three weeKs illness. Funeral Wednesday, July 31 at the Church of Jesiis, which he was founder. He was a graduate of Morehouse college, Atlanta, Ga., and was active in religious and civic work in several southeastern states. Since coming to the city he had. started construction of an orphan's home for Newro bovs and I girls but the work stopped when he became ill. Survival.?.
