On be half of ibe citizens living on this road we. put in a plea. Death of E. 0. Tharin. On Friday inst the deceased died at bis residence "Poplar Spring1' at the age of sixty six. Mr. Tharin was a native of Charleston and for nearly 18 years held the position of flour infpector in that City. Hj8 declining health induced him to seek the retirement of tbo country, and after a stay of eleven month') he fell under a stroke of apoplexy,'His remains were buried in the cemetery of the Episcopal Church. A large number of friends attended tbo funeral. The 7th Anniversary Of the Young America Fire Engine Co. On the twenty fourth the Young America's will celebrate their seventh, anniversary rind as both Fire Companies are going to parade we may expect some thing that wil} help to enliven these dull times. Ono condition is deplorable, and if we wish to relievo it, wo must either get men to immigrate, or we may bo forced to emigrate. Everything else has been tried and failed.
