Kelly, Jr., was recently elected Chairman of the Newberry County Chapter of the S. C. Society for Crippled Children and Acjults. The election took place during the annual meet ing of the Chapter which was held at the home of Mrs. C. M. Smith. An accounting of the Chap ter’s activities for the year was made by the outgoing Chair man, Harry E. Moose. The Treasurer, J. D. French, reported on finances of the Chapter. Over $3500 has gone into the Chapter's work for this year, most of which was spent entirely within the county. The total expenditures included monies to support the work of the state and national organ ization.
