Stevens & Co. in impressive ceremonies. The Whitmire prople were being honored for their “Outstanding contribution to the support of the armed forces of the United States during the Southeast Asia buildup as a supplier ot spec ialized cotton greige goods used in military fabrics.” On hand for the presentation were, from left, Flay F. Alex ander, superintendent of the Whitmire plant; Robert r I. Stevens president of J. P. Stevens Co.; James H. Abrams, manager of the plant and Brig. Gen. J. M.
