With the cooperation that he and his associates'tdeserve and are sure to get in this enterprise, the vision of great things long cherished will take shape in fact. 4 Picnic at Four Mile School House * The picnic planned for the Four Mile School for Friday Feb. 14th, was postponed to Monday Feb. 17ch and the beautiful day more than re paid for the disappointment of Fri day. Twentyfive patrons attended dur ing the morntng and afternoon and a oeautifui dinner with hot coffee was served at noon. Contests in rapid arithmetic work occupied the first hour and the child ren all did excellent work. After recess six grades in reading were given, followed by an interest ing class in book keeping. In the court of Magistrate Chestnut on last Wednesday, the cases of The State vs Ambrose Martin and v (.nuomi nther defendants charged with entry ou real estate, were Culled for trial, one of the cases, that 1 rgainst Mr. Martin, having been transferred to Mr. Chestnut by Magistrate J J. King, and the other Cuses being still in the jurisdiction of Mr. King who attended here to try them at the same time. CJpon motion of the prosecutor Mr. Fate Grainger, the cases were continued until April 10ib, 1913, one of the material witnesses for the State, according to him, being absent and u*avoid&b?y detained at borne on account of the illness of a child, George M.
