WOOnWAKI) , Kriitor THURSDAY. JULY 15. \\) !? Town Ordinances. BR IT ORDAINED by tho Town Council of tho Town of Conway in Council assembled and by authority of the same: Section 21). It shall ho unlawful for any female of bad character, or any harlot, or any other person or persons of notoriously bad character be or loiter or stand upon any of tho streets within tho Town of Conway after tho hour of seven (7) o'clock p in., unless such person or persons be able to show that ho, she or thev had some legitimate business in so doing. Sec 30. It. shall bo unlawful for aii3r person or person under the age of fifteen years (15) to bo upon any of tho streets or in any public nlace within tho tosvn of Conway after the hour of eight (8) o'clock p m., during the months of October, November and December, January, February and March after the hour ot eight (8) o'clock p m., and after the hour of nine ('J) o'clock p 111., during the months of April, May, June July, August and September, unless such person or persons shall bo able to show that he, she or they had some legitimate business in so doing. Sec, 31. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to permit any domestic animal (including ducks and geese) to run at largo within the corporate limits of the town of Conway, whether the escape of such animal be due to willfulness or negligence. Sec. 32. Any domestic animal (including ducks and geese) found going at large within the corporate limits 01 tne lown oi CJonway shall be seized and empounded, and the owner, if known, notified; and unless the same be redeemed within two (2) days, the marshal shall upon the third day sell the same and out of tbo proceeds of such sale shall pay the cost of seizure and keeping and a penalty of one ($1) dollar for every animal and twenty-live (25c) cents for every duck or goose, and turn over the balance, to the Town Treasurer, subject to the order of the owner, if any, and if no owner shall appear and demand the same within sixty (60) days, the same shall be forfeited t.r? tim nc? ttie? town. That if tho owner shall appear and demand his property before such sale, the same fees and penalties shall bo collected as if tho said property had been sold, and shall be paid by the owner of such property to the marshal before such property is returned to him or her. Seo. 45. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to use or carry sliugshots on any street or public place within the town of Conway. Seo. 40. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons within the oorporate limits of the town of Con way to obstruct any street or sidewalk by engine, trains of cars, or by any vehicle, animal, goods ooxos, or any other thing whatsoever, calculated to impede or hinder the free passago of persons along the sidewalks, and of persons, work animals and vehicles along the streets', or to place in any street or on any sidewalk any box or boxes, cask or casks, rubbish or refuse of any kind; every vehicle person and vehicle meeting another shall bear to the light and yield half the way to eacii other: Provided, that this section shall not apply to wagons or drays promptly delivering or recivine goods across sidewalks at points where there is no other access than access across the sidewalk, Sec. 47. All persons doing business on living on the public square, Main street, side streetsadjacnet thereto,are hereby required to throw sweeping, or trash, paper or refuse, etc. into a barrel, box or other receptacle, in an accessable or convenient place. The barrel, box, or other receptacle, after having been c u.pticd oi such trash, paper, refuse, etc., by the sin et hands, must be taken in olT the streets by the ower thereof. No person shall empty or place paper, or bush, or other rubbish upon any sidewalk, or upon the public square, or where the same may be ulow thereon. ! Sec. 48. Sec. 08 It shall be unlawful for any locomotive engine or train to be run, moved, shifted on the C. G. & W Li. It. frbm the street crossii g on Elm street, at the "Gully Store" pass the street classing on Main street, near the now school hou-e without lirst being preceded b\ a pilot or llaginan, unprovided in Sec 57 of tiiis chapter. Sec. 50. It shall be unlawful for anv locomotive engine or ens to be j stopped for a longer time than live (f>) minutes on any lane, street, or alley way of the town of Conway, where the same is traversed or crossed by any railroad track or tracks therein.
