The Horry convention of the Republican party was held here on the y 11th inst and elected the following c delegates:?Geo. C Singleton and O. * L. Levallie to the State convention; R. J. Cochran, li W. Spain and P. 1 11. liellamy to the District conven- * tion. Geo. C. Singleton was retain- 1 ed as county chairman. The con- c vention was well attended, 28 dele- * gates being present. Levallio on one side J and G. YV. Johnson on the other for honors on one or the other of the 5 delegations, with the county chairmanship also involved; Levallio favoring the incumbont, G. C.
