Commencement Camden Schools. The Camden High and Graded schools* were closed on las* Tuesday. J$nd inst.,) with very appropriate commencement ex ercises at the Opera House. The total enrollmant for the year was shown to bo 466, which was an increase of 20 over last year. There was seven graduates; Masters Robert Piuckney, Doris Mitchum and Raines Blaaeney, and Misses Nanuie Hough, Nan Trantham, 'Helen Phelps and Elizabeth DnBose, Master Robt. Pinokney was the 1st honor graduate - with Miss Nannie Hough a close second. ? ? The composition medal was awarded to Miss Jane Bauskett and was presented by Rev. W. B. Gordon. We regret to record the death of Arthnr Sowell, which sad event occurred on Wednesday night, the 3rd inst. The re muins were taken to Kershaw on Thursday and interred in the grave-yard there.
