After service in France I am now at a rest camp. All the days here are so cheerful that one would think they had n© care In the ^ world. There Is. however, one terrible thought in our minds: in the very near future the watl will have at last reached its end and the boy.i will be coming home. Thousands of the brave ones we loved will be miss ing. May'we beg the mothers, wives and sweethearts of these truly brave boys to remember when that day ar rives that far from being a day of sorrow, for them It should be a thanksgiving to, have bred and loved such noble sons, . * These lads had but one thought as they cheerfully met death, and that was their loved ones at home.
