There was a meeting held of persons interested to take into consideration the organization of a Baptist church and the follow ing named ordained ministers were by invitation present: Rev F O 8 Curtis, Rev 8 W Acker- , man, and Rev B F Halford, there constituting a presbytery. Rev F O 8 Curtis, was by motion, elected Moderaton and Bro A w warren, Clerk. The object of the meeting was steted, and letters of dismission were presented. Thee- letters were read and names enroMed. On motion it was resolved that these persons now constitute a church to be known aa the Second Bap tist church of walterboro, 8. C. Bro F M Morns and Bro J C Langdale, Deacons. Bro A Warren, Church OJerk; Rev B F Halford was. chosen pastor. The preebytery nre the right hand of fellowship to the mem bers of the Second Baptist Church of walterboro, wishing them great anoeaes and asking God’s Blearing apon them. The church then was adjourned.
