There was a meeting held of
persons interested to take into
consideration the organization of
a Baptist church and the follow
ing named ordained ministers
were by invitation present: Rev
F O 8 Curtis, Rev 8 W Acker- ,
man, and Rev B F Halford,
there constituting a presbytery.
Rev F O 8 Curtis, was by
motion, elected Moderaton and
Bro A w warren, Clerk. The
object of the meeting was steted,
and letters of dismission were
presented. Thee- letters were
read and names enroMed. On
motion it was resolved that these
persons now constitute a church
to be known aa the Second Bap
tist church of walterboro, 8. C.

Langdale, Deacons. Bro A
Warren, Church OJerk; Rev B
F Halford was. chosen pastor.
The preebytery nre the right
hand of fellowship to the mem
bers of the Second Baptist
Church of walterboro, wishing
