The House passed a bill creating the 11th judicial circuit. ° This bill has been amended in the Senate by adding a.l2th. It is very doubtful if the House will agree to this addi tion. The Appropriation bill as .passed in the House pushes the figures up to $200,000 above last year and hence the tax levy will be 51-2 mills instead of 41-2 as it was last year. There is now a ResolutLn before ua to extend the session 10 days be yond the limit. But 1 think this would be unwise, if we had adopt ed a Resolution on the first day of the session to adjourn at the end of ten day* 1 think the State would have been better oft*. In that time the Appropriation bill could have been formulated and passed, and would very probably have been very much^maller and hence very muen more satisfactory. Now, Mr. Editor, you may decide that 1 am in a grumbling mood, but m/ weakness has always been to state frets just as I see them, even though I chop my own toes in the statement. « Yours truly, J. B.
