Barnett and son, Jackie, of Norfolk, Va., are the guests this week of Mrs. Barnett’s sister, Mrs. Henry C. Hallman and family. Mrs. Louise Z. DeLoache, Le- Noir House, Fair street, arrived home on last Wednesday after spending the summer in New Eng land. She was accompanied home by her daughter, Mrs. Alan Goude (Ruthie DeLoache) and children, Alan, Jr. and Elizabeth, of Peak’s Island, Maine, who will remain for an extended visit. Mrs. Beulah T. Sheorn and son, Wiley Sheorn, Jr., have just re turned from an interesting motor trip to Kansas City, Mo. En route they stopped overnight at famous Gatlinburg, Tenn., Mammoth Cave, St. Louis, where "Buddy” attended a big league baseball game. While in Kansas City they were the guests of Mrs. Sheonvs sister-in-law, Mrs. W. J. P. Weeks and family. They returned via the Ozarks and Lookout Mountains, Tennessee. „ Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Stog- ner and children, Marcie and "Phil”, left last Saturday for about two weeks vacation in their cot tage at Crescent Beach. Mr. and Mrs. William T. Huntley, Jr., and children from Chapel Hill, N. C., joined them on Sunday for a week with them. Montgomery to be assistant county agent of Kershaw county to succeed J. B. Griffin, who has been transferred to Orangeburg county. Capt. Gordon Cremer, who re ceived his primary training at the Southern Aviation School in the fall of 1941, spent Thursday night in Camden as the guest of Miss Lillian Yates, N. Broad and Greene streets. Captaian Cremer is serving with the 47th Bomber Group at Barksdale Field, Shreveport, La. as an exchange officer and is the first RAF officer to fly a jet bomber.
