Miss Janie Margaret Granger re turned Friday from a week’s visit in Fkfrence. • Death of Lewis Bowers Lewie Bo were, a son of the late Landy Bowers, Sr., and Susan Wll llama Bowers, passed away at his home in Lancaster Friday night after almost ten years of declining health. He made home here before moving to Lancaster. The funeral was held at Providence Baptist church Sunday afternoon. A boat of friends and relatives at tended the service. The floral of ferings were many and beautiful. His wife, who before marriage, was Annie Peach, daughter of the late Lem Peach, and.. Mrs. Peach, and six daughters and four eons are survivors. The Ogburn family reunion was held near Kershaw Sunday at the home of Mrs. D. W. Ogburn and was attended by her children, their familie* and dose relatives. Mrs. B. W. Dixon and Mrs. B. H.
