A. degree in Engith from Mryn Mawr College and later she earned a Bachelor of Library science de gree from Columbls University. ^ Her subsequent career includes a period in the New York Public Library and six years in Puerto Rico as a teacher of English, at the anlvhrsity and instructor' in chUdren’s literature at the Poly technic.
