Boykin, of Camden, R-1, has been brought home from Guam and will be burled in the National Cemetery at Florence on next Tues day afternoon at 4 o’clock. Cpl. Boykin was killed In actlcm in Guam during the war. He volun teered for service in the United Stetes Marine# on Beptember SS. 194*. received his training at Par ris Island. Camp LeJeune, Camp la- llott and Camp Pendleton before going overseas October tf, 194S. He landed in New Zealand and from there fought on BongainvlUe, Tarawa, Tlwanan and Guam. He received the Purple Heart with Gold Star, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal. World War H Victory meda* and l^nss Star. Cpl. Boykin Is survived by his parents; two brothers, Mwrlon 8. C. vonTresekow, the chair man. .The exercises will be held at Quaker cemetery at 5:30 p. m. unless it is rain ing in which event they will be held in the Grammar School auditorium. C. These rumors have it that the road has already be gun negotiations with the Lancaster A Chester Railroad for the sale of the line to that railroad. The rumon alio have it that if the line is purchased by, the Lancaater k Chester that all of it will be scrapped except the link between Camden and Lancasted.
