Miss Bell Street, Deborah Lor rick was pre sent. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts also joined the Bell Street paraders. On last Wednesday night the basketball team journeyed to Laurens. The trip proved vic torious for the girl’s team, de feating Sanders High by a score of 28-20. TheJunior Varsity team upset Sander Yellow Jackets 37- 27. The Varsity team losttoSan- ders. Many spectators and bas ketball fans from Clinton were present to witness the game. We are anticipating greater success in the future. Yvonne Adams, president of the student council, and Linda Price, secretary, received contribu tions from the student body and faculty for the Walker family of SpiCJH r Clinton, whose home was de stroyed by fire last Thursday night, which claimed the lives of seven children ofthat family. The entire school extends its utmost sympathy to the family. Pilots. Flight Engineers Needed CHARLESTON AFB- An ur gent call for pilots and flight engineers has been issued by the Air Force Reserve 943rd Mili tary Airlift Group, (Associate) at Charleston Air Force Base, S. C. Prior service pilots and flight engineers are needed tor paid reserve aircrew vacancies in the new Reserve Associate Program, in which reservists can fly mis sions all over the world with the Military Airlift Command in the C-141 Starlifter. In the future, reservists will qualify to main tain and fly the new C-5 Galazy. Reservists may attend Air Force schools to become quali fied to fly the C-141 and will re ceive full pay and allowances while in reserve school status. They also receive flight incentive pay, travel privileges, medical and retirement benefits. In order to qualify for the flight engineer assignments, prior ser vice personnel must have held the rank of staff sergeant, or | above, and have previous ex- : perience as aircraft mechanics ; on either piston or jet aircraft In addition, assignments as : loadmasters, medical techni- ; dans, and aircraft maintenance : personnel are open.
