Airy, Ga., visited their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Alma Harvey at Bailey Memorial Hos pital on Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Turner was with her mother a couple of days because of her having surgery. They also visited Mrs. Charles Harvey and family. Also visiting the Mesdames Har veys were Mr. and Mrs. Luther Medlock of Joanna and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lanford of Whitmire on Friday and Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Harris of Laurens on Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. O’Shields were recent visitors in Hender sonville, N.C. with Mr. and Mrs Bill Rowe and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Pace. Pvt David BagweU of Ft. Gor don, Ga. spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fur man Bagwell. Spending Monday of last week with his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Hawking was her son Harold Haw kins of Seneca. Mr. and Mrs. William Stone and children of Anderson visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell Saturday. The children Debbie, Andrea, Henry, Ronald and Jeffrey remained with their grandparents while their parents went on to Orangeburg for a couple ofdays with his father, Mr. Murphy Stone, who is ill and Mrs. Stone. Johnnie Dalton of Joanna visit ed Mrs. Oliver Smith onSaturday. Everett Gwinn of Key West, Fla., is visiting his grand parents Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Mit chell and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meadows and Mrs. Wal ter Patterson while his father. Alton Gwinn, U.S. Navy Air Force, is in the Medical Center in Charleston for a check-up. Visiting with the Mitchells dur ing the weekend were Mitchell Meadows, Sonny Patterson and Everett Gwinn ailso Mr. and Mrs. Richard WiHenzlne and family of Belvedere and Mrs. Walter Pat terson. The Wallenzines also visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wallenzine in Clinton. TRAMMELL, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Motte spent Thursday of last week in Joanna with their daughter, Mrs. Janet Reeder and children. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Terrell of Bowman, Ga., were here for the weekend with his mother, Mrs. W. P. Terrell and sister, Mrs. Mildred Dickerson. They also visited his father in the Lau rens Nursing Home. Mrs. Lewis Abercrombie is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Harold Clardy and Mr. Clardy in Greenville. Mrs. Carolyn Lambert and sons of Chicago, 111. are visit ing here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ballard and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gaskins, David, Bill and Miss Priscilla Gaskins, Mrs. Fred Bodie and Donny Pitts are vacationing this week at Crescent Beach. Mrs. Charlie James, Mrs. Bobby James and children visit ed the former’s sister and bro ther-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hanes Gordon in Abbeville, Sunday. Mr. Claude Wallenzine of Clin ton was the supper guest of his sister, Mrs. 0. H. Miller on Tuesday of last week.
