Mar tin, of Waterloo. RECENT BRIDE HONORED On Friday evening at Joanna Club House a host of friends gathered to honor Mrs. Ray Estes, a recent bride, with a miscellaneous shower. Hostess es for the occasion included Miss Sue Thomas, Mrs. Buddie Daw kins, Mrs. Bobbie Jenkins, Mrs. Lowell Henderson, Mrs. Belva Meadors, Mrs. Lillian Estes and Mrs. James Harrison. The group enjoyed party games directed by Miss Sue Thomas and Mrs. Bud die Dawkins. The party rooms were decorated with mixed flow er arrangements. For the occasion the honoree wore a pastel printed dacron, sleeveless dress with black ac cessories. Her corsage, a gift from the hostesses, was white carnations. Refreshments, consisting of ice cream, were served. Cake and drinks were also served. The honoree was presented many nice and useful gifts, in cluding a Sunbeam steam and dry Iron, a gift from the hos tesses. Mrs. Estes is the former Miss Sharon Meadors.
