The loss Tuesday was to Dun- ean, 15-12. Their previous loss was to Berkeley, 7-5, Tuesday a week ago. Berkeley is now the league lead er, being a game and a half In front. Berkeley comes to Clinton for a make-up gams Thursday night at the Clinton Mill park. Duean Wins Wild One Dunean’s Dynamos stopped Clinton’s Cavaliers, 15-12 Tuss- day night at Dunean in a wild and wordy encounter. Johnny Drake, Dunean right hander, got the win, needing re lief help from Harold Ensley in the ninth inning. Clinton’s Julian Greene was the loser. Ricky Dunean collected five hits for Dunean, including a dou ble. Wiley Williams and Bobby Dellinger hit home runs for Dun- Truman Owens, Klnard Little ton, and Roy Millwood had home runs for Clinton. Ointon Young People Injured In Lourens Wreck Laurens — Four persons were injured here Sunday when their car "took off*’ at a railroad crossing, flew 106 feet and crash ed on ite nose into a ditch. Three Clinton teen-agers and a Ware Shoals youth were hospital ized after the accident which oc curred at a steep rail crossing on West Hampton Street about 2:30 p. m., according to Police Chief J. W. Power. Phyllis Jenkins, 15, of Clinton, was reported in poor condiUon with a head injury at Greenville General Hospital Monday night. She was transferred there after receiving initial treatment at Laurens County Hospital. The other victims, all admitted to the Laurens hospital, were re ported in fair condition. They are Reginald Wilkerson, 20, of Ware Shoals, who receivsd facial cuts and chest and arm injuries; Annette Young, 16, of Clinton, facial cuts and leg arm injuries, and Charlie Smith, 16, of Clinton, facial bruises and broken arm. Chief Power said Wilkerson was driving the 1955 Chevrolet whan it left the ground at the crest railroad crossing and land ed nose-down in a ditch on the right side of the road. The chief said the car traveled 106 feet in the air and skidded 36 feet after landing in the ditch. The front of the car was crushed.
