Joseph J. Scott, observed her fifth birthday June 12. In cele bration of the occasion she invited i few five-year-oM girl* for on af ternoon party. Sherry’s grandmother. Mr*. L. W. Youmans, of Columbia, assisted Mrs. Scott in entertaining and serv ing the little folk ice cream, cup cakes and cold drinks. Each was given a favor. The birthday cake was prettily decorated in a circus motif. Entertain At Informal Drop-In Entertaining at an informal drop- in last Tuesday morning were Mrs. Bailey Dixon, Mk*. On the mantel was an arrangement of white lilies, Queen Anne’s lace and Burfordi Holly foliage, and else where in the room were yellow and white daisies, yellow-shaded and magnolias. Mrs, Curtis Taylor assisted Mrs. Bryson in entertaining and serving the children refreshments of ice cream and cake. Party favors were presented each of the little guests.
