Party On Birthday
Sherry Scott, daughter of Capt.
and Mr*. Joseph J. Scott, observed
her fifth birthday June 12. In cele
bration of the occasion she invited

Mrs. Scott in entertaining and serv
ing the little folk ice cream, cup
cakes and cold drinks. Each was
given a favor. The birthday cake
was prettily decorated in a circus
motif.

in last Tuesday morning were Mrs.

nue.
Greeting guests at the door were

Hugh Jacobs, Mrs. Ben Hay Ham-
met and Mrs. D. O. Rhame, who
were in the living room. On the
mantel was an arrangement of
white lilies, Queen Anne’s lace and
Burfordi Holly foliage, and else
where in the room were yellow and
white daisies, yellow-shaded
and magnolias.
Centering the dining table was an
arrangement of yefiow rosea, fever
few and gypsophilia, and gardenias
were used on the low serving tp-

Celebrates Birthday
Steven Bryson, son of Mr. and
Mrs Robert Bryson, was honored
with a party last Wednesday after
noon on the occasion of his sixth
birthday
The children enjoyed several
games and Steve opened his gifts.
Mrs, Curtis Taylor assisted Mrs.
Bryson in entertaining and serving
the children refreshments of ice
cream and cake. Party favors were
presented each of the little guests.

hour was enjoyed during which the

ments including lilies, hydrangeas,
