Woman's Club Meeting Forty members gathered for the May meeting of the Woman’s club last Thursday night. The meet ing opened with the unison recital of the Lord’s Prayer. During the business session the latest report was given on the husband-wife banquet which is being planned. The nominating committee will present the officers for election at the June meeting. A musical program was present ed by Misses Patsy Whitmire. Ja nice Fennell, Helen Phillips, Jim my Stewart and Mrs. Rolfe Clark. Mrs. R. L. Francis gave a Moth er’s Day reading, “White Lilac.” Mrs. Norman Lloyd and her group served a salad plate, potato chips, cookies and iced drinks. Birthday Party Given Miss Joyce Ginn was compli mented with a party honoring her 15th birthday Saturday night. The occasion was at her home on Till man Circle and was given by her 1 mother, Mrs. Irby Ginn. Twenty-six young people enjoy ed the many and interesting games that were played during the eve ning. Mrs. Ginn, assisted by Miss Bar bara Sanford, served cookies and iced drinks. Joyce received many lovely gifts.
