Dillard spent the week-end in Salters with rela tives. 5 Eastern Star To Lay Cornerstone of Home at Sumter Roy L. Boyce, District Deputy Grand Patron of the Sixth Eastern Star Distict. announces that cere monies for the laying of the corner stone of the Eastern Star Home in Sumter will be held Sunday, May 20, beginning with a dinner served at 12 noon by the chapter in the 17th district on the site of the building. Price of the dinner will be $L25 per plate. The procession will begin at 2 p.m., wuth the grand officers lead ing the procession. The corner stone will be laid with Masonic ceremony by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Homer M. Pace, with members of the grand lodge participating. Every Eastern Star member and all who are interested are invited to share in the ceremony.
