To Hold Bible School A daily vacation Bible school will be held at Bailey Memorial Metho- djst church beginning Monday, June 23, and continuing through Friday, June 27.. Classes will be held from 9:30 to 11 a. m. Children between the ’'ages of 3 and 14 are invited to attend. Epworth Group Meets The Young people of the Epworth League of district No. 3 of the South Carolina conference held their June meeting at Bailey Memorial church Saturday. The Maple Street church of Columbia gave a very interesting program. A business session was held, presided over by the president of the district, John Henry Price ot Columbia. A social hour was enjoy ed in the recreation hall with re freshments served by the local league. Vacation Bible School Closes 'The daily vacation Bible school held at Calvary Baptist church June 9-13 came to a close Friday evening I with a picnic on the church grounds. , J. C. Commencement exercises were held Sunday evening in the church auditorium with a large number of boys and girls participating. The school had an enrollment of 109 with an average daily attendance of 98. The offering, taken each day for missions, came to $9.94.
