The veto message is a very lengthy one, and the hurdeti of-objection is to section G of the bill, which prevents mil- j itnry interference at elections. As might have been expected, the ! movement of negroes to the chilly plains of Kansas has alraady been ' checked. It is materially impossible j that any such hegira could succeed, j The physical hindrances are too great. When the negro moves, (which we do | not think he ever will, as a people.) it must be towards the South.
