It seems . the agent at Augusta was telegraphed to i detain the wood tram, which leaves Augusta daily, until the arrival of the extra train, but the dispatch, although received half an hoyi* b; f<ye the train started, was not delivered, aud the wood train left ( as usual p.nd of course met the extra on a , curve. The colision threw the engine of the extra off the track and delayed the regular train lour hours. This is the second lime since Mr. Wilson has had charge of the Port Royal Railroad that a tram has been behind time; the other ' was occasion* d by an overloadcdir.tin contrary to orders.
