THE HAGUE, April 4.-The celebration of independence was attended with dis? orders and breaches of the peace at va? rious points. Tho most considerable disturbances occurred at Ostorhont, in North Brabant, whore the mob collected 1 and broke the windows of houses, and committed other outrages. The demon? strations became so threatening, that | the town authorities found it necessary to odll upon the military to suppress tho riot. Upon the appearance of the troops, the mob dispersed; bnt several persons bad been seriously injured be? fore quiet was restored. Mr. Hoar, of tho committee, said it was a novel and very important question. Tho question is against Bowen, and its decision does not confirm DeLarge in bia seat. MATAMORAS, April 3.-General Cor? tina, after his defeat at Baguiru, succeed? ed in evading tho revolutionists in their pursuit of him, and reached his head? quarters at Reynoca, yesterday, with au escort of about ten men. General Quirga is reported to have rescued his troops at Camargo, and marched out of that place towards Linaoos, to join the troops said to be gathering thero to ad? vance on this city, leaving only u small garrison on guard at Camargo. Tho Matamoras authorities captured over 100 head of stolen cattle, which had been crossed into Mexico, und caught six of the thieves, who were lodged in jail hero. This is the second raid on cattlo thieves by the authorities here, who aro very soddenly aroused to a seui-e of their duty, in consequence cf tho action of Congress.
