NEW YORK, June 7.-A rumor is on the street, which cannot be traced, that the steamer Darcia, belonging to the Central American Telegraph Corps, has i been lost near Bermuda. SAN FRANCISCO, June 7.- A special election will bo held to-morrow, to de? termine whether the city shall donato 8100,000 toward the construction of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Considera? ble opposition to the donation is arising, from the fact that the Southern Pacific Railroad is but another name for the Central Pacific Company, which owns all the railroads in the State, and will thus control the Central Pacific route from this coast to the East. The British ship Wm. Wilson sailed for Barkon's Island yesterday. The vessel was in possession of the United States Marshal pending tho suit in tho District Court.
