A Gmij BAVISIIED AND MURDERED DY HER STEP-FATHER.-Tho body of a ne? gro girl, just grown, has been found in Henry County, Georgia. The body being identified, suspicion fell upon thc step-father of tho girl, whoso namo is Squire Ramsey. Ramsey was arrested by Constable Helmns, and in an hour or two, he made a full confession. He said that the girl met him in the old field by agreement, but she would not consent to do as he wished, thereupon ho struck her four blows with his fist ou the back of the nook, thereby dislocating the cervical bones. After he had struck the blow that eaused her death, he ravished her He then left hor, and pretended to know nothing of hor whereabouts. He applied to several of his neighbors to help hunt for her, to keep down suspicion. Sho was killed on Sunday, the 23d ultimo. He is now in prison at McDonough, Ga. The Brazilian soldiers, returning from Paraguay, havo a horrible story of find? ing 1,000 Paraguayan women in a fa? mishing condition, many of them wound? ed by the scouts of Lopez; whilo on tho roads, many others wero found with their throats cut by the same troops.
