SEC. 5. Execution on the jadgment rendered in such action shall issue only against the land and tenements reoovered as in Section 1, and shall not, in any case, isano against the goods and chattels or other lands of the defendant. SEC. 6. Tho plaintiff in an action for the recovery of lands and tenements, shall recover nothing for the mesne pro? fits of the land, except on such improve? ments ns were made by him or those under whom ho claims. SEC. 7. The foregoing provisions, re? lating to betterments, shall not extend to any person who has entered on land by virtue of any oontraot made with the legal owner of such land, unless it shall appear on the trial of the action of the case that such owner has neglected to fulfil snob contract on his part, in which CURO, Ruch person in possession shall be entitled to all the privileges hereinbefore firovided for those who entered upon and under supposed title, and the same proceedings shall be had, and the land shall be held in tho same manner as is hereinbefore provided.
