Tho Nowberry Immigration Society ie still ne lively pushing forward the important work which it inaugurated last year with so much success. A letter from Mr. T. 8. Boinest, the president of the sooiety, an nounces that it- has air.;.ly brought in about three hundred immigrants, the largo majority of whom have proved excellent laborers. Iu view of the probable scarcity of labor next year, the sooiety anticipates more orders for immigrants than it will be able to All. Those who wish to obtain I laborers through this channel axe therefore urged to file their orders as soon as possi ble. The Booiety's agent will go to GaBtlo Garden early in November and remain j there until near the end of December, and secure all the laborers who can be induced to come South; and these will be given to parties who have ordered, the operations of the sooiety being conducted upon the "first oome?first served" principle. It is hoped that some of tho immigrants will be sent on as early as the middle of November, eo as to be of servico in securing the ootton crop.
