The corn crop, although generally looking well, Bas reached tbat condition of its growth which will require early and refreshing showers in order to per? fect the grain, and unless such timely rains are se? cured the yield will be seriously lessoned. The rice crop, also, in several of ene rivers, stands in urgent want of a supply of fresh water, and the yield in many case * will be seriously diminished un? less an early rain is s. cu red. BICE.-The limited supplies of this grain offered by factors, and the general firmness of prices, have somewhat restricted the transactions of the week. We note sales of about 350 tierces of clean Carolina, among which were 20 tierces at 0J?; 3 at 6%; 12 at 713-16; 77at7?i; 19 at 7?; 7 at 1%; 12at7Jk?; 88 at 7%;7at8)?c. ft lb.
