The future of trade and comm arce will hinge largely upon the extent of the crops. With a full yield of cereals end no serious drawbacks to Cotton and Tobacco, a good fall trade may reasonably be counted, upon. Indeed, nothing short' of . a . restoration of the load? ing agricultural crops to their normal proportions, and a consequent enlargement of the exhort trade, will suffice to revive the business of the country. It ls brue that our commerce cannot be placed upon its far? mer footing until certain revenue obstacles that have been interposed shall have been removed, but with the labors of the husbandman fully regarded, we shall probably hear little of commercial depression.
