Frisbie then gave ordere to a lot of negroes he had at .his bidding to break the doors and sack tho building, which was attempted, the doors being cut in with axes, ami had not Mayor Riddell, Mr. B. Much credit is due these gentlemen in queuing tho riot. This is a simple statement of tho - facts, in tho case, and we may well ask the question haye wo civil law or not ? If 'so, aro'these things to go unpunished ? There are, unfortunately, three or four vile men in our community who call them? selves Radicals, and got their living1 by duping and defrauding tho poor negro and pushing them for? ward in all their dirty work.
