Tbo propoaed plan looks to the spoedy conatruc tion of magnificent boulevards in the upper por tion of the city, extending from the intersection of Filly'Ninth-stroot ami Eighth Avenue HB high np aa On??Hundred and Firty-Kirth-atr?ot. '.These boulevards will furnish tbo most beautiful drives, meandering in various directions throughout the entire BUburbB-oaoh ono terminating, or rather beginning, from the entrance to the Central Park, at the corner of Eighth Avenue and Fifty-Ninth strcot, as Btated above. Tbo conatruotiou of these boulevards has boon authorized by the Legisla ture, and tho work, which haa for some tiipo boon well under way, ia in the hands of the Park Com missioners.
