That n firte of five (f>) dollnrs be Imposed upon any one who shall ride their Horse, Mule etc., on the SIDE-WALKS of said Town; or caused to have HITCHED, of TIED, their Stock, auch as Horses, Mules etc., so as to offer an obstruction or obstaclo to the free passage of Citizens on tho side* walk. Sec. 3. That any Horse, Mule etc., found running at largo in the Public Streets of said Town, shall be taken into custody by the Town Marshal, and lodged for safe* keeping till the owner oome forward and prove property and pay into the Treasurer or the Town Counoil five (ft) dollars for each and every head of Stock so confined.
