**>?& State Convention*. te publish cutiro the proceedings of flic State aiid CongressionalConventions. The bar* luony and unity of those bodies was somewhat reinakable, disclosing the pleasing fact that while iu many counties there appears on the surface of political affairs a strong disposition to distract and disorganize the democratic party, in the patriotic heart of its members, as dcvelopcd by tlioir representatives in those cor.-, volitions, there is a deep and solid determination to drive out all elements of discord from their ranks and present one unbroken and united front at the next election, for the security and prosperity of people and the honor and welfare of the State. Let the democrats of each county, then, take their cue from their assembled representatives and, feeling the touch of each otIters shoulder, iu closed ranks march in one solid phalanx to the ballot box next No vetubeiv with Hampton as their leader, ami the fangs of the ncnotnous Radical snake will be extracted and the repti'.c made powerless for ever after in South Carolina.
