Hare, president; L. B. Addy. vice-president; H. D. Crosson, secretary; Killian Harman, treasurer. Following were elected delegates to the state convention which meets in the city of Florence on July 3,4 and 5: Killian Harmon, H. D. Crospon and L. B. Addy. On Thursday afternoon about 4 o'clock John Hutto, aged 23 years, son of Mr. Brit Hutto, was instantly killed . at the plaining mill of the i?anville Lumber Co., near Pelion, while operating a truck. The young man had just begun work at the plant in the morning, and was not familiar with f.Via our vchiph ran liUO YYUlmU^O V/i. IUW v?i I ..? into the spur track, Hutto was thrown for a distance of eight feet, his neck and skull being broken by the fall. Magistrate C. R. Rish held an inquest, the jury returning a verdict in accordance with the above facts. { The remains of Mr. Hutto were laid to rest in the Good Hope church yard on the following day in the presence ' of a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends. - t Cotton Squares. | Mr. Andrew J.
