Teacher Indicted. The Pickens county grand jury has found a true bill against Miss Oline B. Newton, the young lady school teacher charged with cruelly whipping one of her pupils. The case ha? already caused a sensation in the town of Pickens and the people of the county are awaiting the final outcome with much interest, as the young ludv in question, stands very high in the estimation of the best classes of people both in Pickens and throughout the county. $10,000 Stolen by Bobbers. The bank of Farland, at Fairland, Okla., was entered by robbers and $10,000 including the postoffice receipts was secured. Three men composed the gang. They rode into town on horse back, tied their horses near the bank building and after getting the money mounted and rode away in safety. Officers are in pursuit. A Lesson in Health.
