Altman, one of the finest mechanics in the State, a member of the grand jury and a resident of Batesburg, where he has one of the finest shops in the country, called in to see us this week. Mrs. Sam Swygert has moved from Peak to Lexington so that she may better educate her children in the school here. She occupies the Dr. Hendrix cottage on lower Main street.
