Death of a Prominent Negro. Albany, Ga., May 10?Frank , W McCarthy, one of the most prominent negroes in Southwest Georgia, died at his home in this city last night. For the first time in the history of Albany, a > town of 8,000 inhabitants, every ) store and oflice was closed in honor of a negro, no busiuess being transacted while the funeral was in progress.
