Last week however a telegram was received hearing the sad intelligence of her death. Mrs. W K Witherspoon was a daughter of the late Jefferson J Morton, and had many relatives in this community, to whom our sympathy is extended in their liereavement.? Kershaw Era. Mr. Wi'liamson Gregory of ills Point, Texas, brother of istmaste:* Gregory of this place, is seriously shot in a difficulty th a man named Boh Williams, Wills Point, on the first of iril last.
