the time of Mrs. Witherspoon's
return hopes were entertained
of the sister's recovery. Last
week however a telegram was received
hearing the sad intelligence
of her death. Mrs. W K Witherspoon
was a daughter of the late
Jefferson J Morton, and had
many relatives in this community,
to whom our sympathy is extended
in their liereavement.?

Lancastrian Shot In Texas.
