Mr. Billiard has been ill with pneumonia and we hope that he is feeling better now. , The Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls attended a Valentine Party given for them by their teacher, Miss Nellie Osborne. There was a large number in attendance and the party was enjoyed by all. Mr. John F. Deaton, Jr. wishes to invite everyone to attend Sunday School at the Lydia Mill Church of God. The party came as a complete surprise to "Miss r* i " - i * * ... v_icilit , wno naa also retired on this same day after more than 50 years of loyal and efficient service in the Clinton and Lydia Mills. Games were played and later a salad plate, punch and coffee were served the 52 quests present. "Miss Clara" was presented a profusion of lovely g i f t s, among them a Universal Automatic coffee maker from the Weaving Department. Although the entire department will miss seeing her sweet smile and hearing her friendly hello, they all wish for her many years of happiness in her retirement.
