The Blue Birds and Camp
Fire Girls attended a Valentine
Party given for them by
their teacher, Miss Nellie
Osborne. There was a large
number in attendance and
the party was enjoyed by all.

The ladies of Weaving No. 2
recently honored Mrs. Clara
Milam with a birthday party
at the home of Mrs. Sara
Jenkins on W. Carolina Avenue.
The party came as a
complete surprise to "Miss

on this same day after more
than 50 years of loyal and
efficient service in the Clinton
and Lydia Mills. Games
were played and later a salad
plate, punch and coffee were
served the 52 quests present.
"Miss Clara" was presented a
profusion of lovely g i f t s,
among them a Universal Automatic
coffee maker from
the Weaving Department. Although
the entire department
will miss seeing her sweet
smile and hearing her
friendly hello, they all wish
for her many years of happiness
in her retirement.
The man who has just
switched to bifocals is never
at a loss for conversation.
