Mrs. Edd Young and daughter, Carolyn Ann, visited Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones in Greenwood recently. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Craine and family visited relatives in Pickens. Miles Lavvson attended the funerals of his nephew and his three c h i 1 d r e n , who were killed in an automobile wreck in Ashville. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Craine are the proud grandparents of another grandson. Born to Mrs. Jimmy Craine on May 4. We wish to congratulate Jimmy Suttles. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at P. C. June 2nd. We are glad to have Ruby Ivester back at work after being a patient at Blalock Clinic for a while. Billy Ray Craine is doing nicely after a tonsil operation at Hays Hospital. Miriam and Miles Lawson, Jr. have had the measles. Mrs. Abelina Evans had a birthday June 9. E. E. Mr. and Mrs. Billv Lowery and children and Mrs. Fern Hardman were visitors in Balfour, North Carolina recently. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heaton announce the marriage of their daughter, Bobbie Jean, to Bennie Hughey on June 29. We want to welcome Mrs. Jack Rhodes back after a sick leave.
